IOF-WV Energy Assessment Program
The IOF-WV Energy Assessment Program provides no cost energy assessments to industries that participate in the IOF-WV Program. The WVU Industrial Assessment Center conducts a one-day energy assessment of the company and makes recommendations for energy savings opportunities. These assessments are also available to industries that are below or above the energy expenditure criteria established by U.S. DOE for the IAC program. The team recommended 40.4 million Kwh in savings for electricity and 1,052,607 MMBTU in savings for Natural Gas, Wood, and Oil between 2002 and 2006.
